Chef Geji Mckinney-Banks is the former executive chef, personal chef, and director for the NFL Minnesota Vikings football team. After working 25 years with the organization, she launched Culinary Artworks, Inc, a non profit organization in 2020 during the pandemic to help the community youth. One of the four main risk factors for preventable chronic diseases is poor nutrition. Obesity, type 2 diabetes, and asthma are all part of chronic illnesses that are effecting our youth. Giving back what she has learned in her many years of culinary and sports nutrition, affords her the ability to teach youth, that
they too can learn to eat and be healthier.
Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in the area of food and nutrition, we formed our organization to help provide sensible solutions. We also offer a hydroponic program to grow our own fruits and vegetables, and the community cafe that teaches youth food service skills.
Providing nutrition education and healthy cooking techniques to inner city youth.
Empowering children to attain healthy lifelong attitudes through food.
Fostering positive social changes and a quality eating culture.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission. Your generous donation will make a lasting impact and help shape the future of our community.
